This Research Associate position is a full-time term role commencing September 28, 2026, until March 31, 2027. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in life sciences and hands-on research experience, specifically within tissue culture and the operation of lab equipment. This role involves collaboration with a Research Scientist and supervision of students.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical assistance for Environment and Agriculture research projects
• Operate and manage analytical lab equipment
• Conduct fieldwork to support research initiatives
• Help supervise students in lab-related tasks
• Collaborate with industry partners to achieve project goals
Requirements:
• Degree, diploma, or advanced diploma in a related field
• Minimum of two years research experience
• Experience with cryopreservation and tissue culture techniques
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and digital environments
• Proven ability in project management and data handling Bring your commitment to research excellence to NSCC and contribute to innovative solutions at Annapolis Valley Campus.
