Join West Parry Sound Health Centre as a Medical Imaging Technologist, specializing in ultrasound. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a leading healthcare facility.
As a Senior Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a vital role within our team, responsible for performing and evaluating ultrasound examinations. Reporting to the Manager of Laboratory and Medical Imaging, you will enjoy a supportive environment that fosters professional growth. Your shifts may include weekends and standby hours, allowing flexibility in your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision
• Collaborate with Radiologists on imaging assessments
• Ensure compliance with professional and technical standards
• Contribute to quality assurance and improvement efforts
• Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices
Requirements:
• CMRITO registration with current ARDSM standing
• At least five years of ultrasound experience
• Accredited Ultrasound Technology program completion
• Proven leadership and communication abilities
• Familiarity with healthcare software applications Utilize your ultrasound expertise to advance healthcare quality at WPSHC.
