BDC is searching for a curious and analytical Economist to enhance its Economic Research team. You will focus on generating insights that inform decision-making and help empower Canadian entrepreneurs through detailed analysis of economic trends. Your role will be pivotal in refining BDC’s strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth research on economic and business issues
• Analyze trends in financing and entrepreneurial behavior
• Create presentations and reports for leadership
• Partner with internal teams to understand strategic needs
• Present research findings to both internal and external audiences
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Economics required
• At least five years in economic research and analysis
• Experience with quantitative methods and tools
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
• Strong problem-solving and communication capabilities Leverage your analytical skills to support BDC’s mission in fostering entrepreneurship across Canada.
