The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and executing a sales plan within their territory that results in meeting or exceeding sales, within a defined target. This position will focus on activities to support sales, customer service, business retention, and increased marketshare. The Territory Manager is the primary contact with current and potential customers and is accountable for our reputation. They must be knowledgeable and able to provide service to customers on all aspects of our specialty medical products.

Key Responsibilities
Business Planning and Development
- Ensure the development, maintenance, and execution of the sales plan for the territory to achieve the sales target.
- Utilize provided business development tools (CRM).
- Utilize the trial and evaluation equipment and samples effectively.
- Remain abreast and capitalize upon opportunities/changes within the territory.
Sales
- Participate in the negotiation of all contracts in the territory and capitalize on contract renewal opportunities.
- Ensure all assigned products within THS’s portfolio are sold and serviced.
- Ensure THS is positioned and represented as an innovative value based Canadian industry partner.
- Maintain a current customer account database.
- Provide In-servicing and education to all hospitals in the territory.
Communication & Administration
- Maintain regular and ongoing communication with Regional Manager.
- Ensure communication is safe, effective and informative regarding issues which may affect the quality of service or products.
- Provide quarterly progress updates or as required.
- Ensure competitive information or data on products is provided to Product Managers.
Education and Experience
- College Diploma in Business, Medical Sciences, or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of previous work experience in hospital medical device sales is ideal.
- Experience with National GPOs and Provincial SSOs
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and projects.
- Knowledge of utilizing business development tools (CRM).
Essential Duties
- Ability to safely and lawfully operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs (23kg).
- Fluent in French & English both written and oral
- Proficient presentation skills.
- Ability to travel.
Working Conditions
- Home Office / Field Setting
- Frequent interruptions.
- Compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) working hours, with additional working hours as required to meet ongoing business demands and to fulfill job responsibilities.
