Shape the future of transportation as the Traffic Planning and Traffic Engineering Lead at Stantec, operating from Calgary. Focus on collaboration, safety, and engineering excellence across multiple jurisdictions.
As part of the Infrastructure team, you will lead the traffic planning practice and manage critical projects enhancing transportation systems. Your role includes mentoring staff, fostering a collaborative environment, and engaging in client relationship management to drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and grow the traffic planning and engineering team
• Guide recruitment and staff development initiatives
• Promote accountability and collaboration in project execution
• Strengthen client relationships and business development strategies
• Oversee multimodal transportation project management
Requirements:
• At least 8 years of experience in transportation and traffic engineering
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
• Experience with project scope, schedule, and budget management
• Knowledge of federal, provincial, and territorial standards
