IT regulatory compliance specialists apply cybersecurity expertise across SOX, USCG, TSA, GDPR, and NIS requirements within Sunoco LP’s petroleum operations.
This IT Specialist manages regulatory compliance efforts for critical infrastructure operations. The work includes policy development, risk assessments, audit support, and compliance training. It also requires knowledge of cybersecurity standards, IT controls, and regulatory frameworks affecting the petroleum industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret IT regulatory requirements across relevant agencies
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Coordinate audits and prepare compliance documentation
- Provide regulatory compliance training and awareness sessions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity
- Two to five years of experience, including three-plus years in compliance
- Understanding of SOX, USCG, NIST, TSA, GDPR, and NIS
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and implementing IT controls
- CISA, CISSP, or equivalent certification preferred
