About the Opportunity:

As an ICI New Build Superintendent, you will take charge of on-site operations for high-profile commercial, retail, and institutional projects across the GTA. This is more than just a leadership role—it's an opportunity to work with a team that prioritizes quality, efficiency, and above all, safety. You'll be leading site teams, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work is completed on schedule and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
    • Work closely with project managers, and estimators to meet project timelines and objectives.
    • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain project efficiency and quality.
    • Promote and enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets established quality standards and project requirements.
    • Monitor project timelines and budgets, implementing effective solutions to address any challenges or delays.
    • Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, progress reports, and safety documentation.

What You Bring:

·       A minimum of 10 years of experience in ICI construction, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role focusing on new build projects.

·       Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.

·       Proven expertise in managing mid-scale ICI construction projects from inception to completion.

·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site teams.

·       In-depth knowledge of construction safety protocols and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

·       Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.

·       Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.

·       A valid driver's license and the flexibility to travel to various project sites within the GTA as required.
