We are seeking one or more Industrial Millwrights for our Renfrew operations. This is a full-time position.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Millwright position involves a broad range of routine and non-routine maintenance responsibilities for light to heavy manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities range from regular preventative maintenance duties to troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical problems. The company offers 12-hour rotating shifts which are required for these positions.
Qualifications
The successful candidates will require the following:
- Must be a licensed Industrial Millwright in the Province of Ontario with related experience.
- A high degree of mechanical aptitude with demonstrated mechanical skills and working knowledge.
- Good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics and other related maintenance skills.
- Instrumentation experience would be an asset.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting.
Will consider third or fourth year apprentice or the successful completion (pass) of the Mechanical Technician-Millwright two-year program with preference being given to those with work-related experience.
Additional Information
As a Certified Industrial Millwright, you will be a member of the bargaining unit with an attractive wage and total benefits and compensation package. The position offers job security, good working conditions, and challenging job responsibilities.
Compensation Package:
- Rate of pay: fully licensed Millwright - $42.29 per hour including built-in weekly overtime and applicable shift premiums.
- RSP: 6.5% company RSP contribution
- Annual compensation: ~$97,000.00 plus any voluntary overtime
- Comprehensive group benefits package: company paid medical, dental, extended health care benefits 100% for most coverages (with minor first claim deductibles)
