This is a senior-level, hands-on design position with creative and technical leadership responsibilities, working closely with the VP of Design and President. The RoleReporting into VP of Design, the Senior Menswear Designer is responsible for design and development of menswear collections that embody the PATRICK ASSARAF brand vision. This role oversees key product categories including luxury knits, cut-and-sew, tailoring, and elevated essentials.The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of luxury menswear, fabric innovation, fit, and construction, along with the ability to translate brand DNA into cohesive, seasonally relevant assortments. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with Leadership to interpret line plans, seasonal concepts, and business objectives into compelling product assortmentsDrive fabric, yarn, trim, and silhouette development with a strong focus on quality, longevity, and luxury hand feelConduct in-depth research on global menswear trends, fabric innovation, colour direction, fit evolution, and competitive landscapeDevelop and present clear, innovative, and brand concepts that balance creativity with commercial viabilityOversee fit strategy and execution, participating in fittings and providing detailed feedback to ensure consistency and excellenceCreate, review, and approve technical sketches, CADs, and specification packages to ensure accurate product executionCollaborate cross-functionally with production, sourcing, merchandising, and marketing teams throughout the development lifecycleEnsure timelines and quality standards are met across multiple seasonsMaintain strong communication across departments to ensure design intent is clearly understood and deliveredContribute to a positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented team environment. Qualifications & Experience10+ years of experience in menswear design, preferably within luxury or premium apparelStrong expertise in luxury fabrics, garment construction, fit, and technical executionProven ability to lead design direction while remaining hands-on in product developmentAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD toolsStrong merchandising sensibility with the ability to build cohesive, balanced assortmentsExperience creating and managing detailed tech packs and line listsExcellent presentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsHighly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentStrong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability Our Culture & CommitmentAt PATRICK ASSARAF, we value diverse experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
