Job Title: Application Analyst – SASE DLP
Contract: 1 Year (Temp-to-Perm Possible)
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid, 2 Days/Week Onsite)
Bilingualism: French & English
Overview:
Join our DevSecOps revolution as an Application Analyst – SASE DLP within the cybersecurity team. In this role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a critical security platform, contributing to a high-performance cybersecurity environment. This hands-on role requires an agile, solutions-oriented individual who collaborates across security, IT, and business domains to implement and optimize the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze security requirements related to cloud and web application services.
- Collaborate with the product owner to deliver projects and support the SASE platform.
- Monitor and respond to operational requests related to data protection assets.
- Ensure 24/7 high availability and smooth functioning of data protection assets.
- Conduct threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments within a multi-cloud SaaS environment.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance integration, processes, procedures, and documentation for SASE operations.
- Maintain the SASE platform's CMDB.
- Contribute to building a culture of cybersecurity innovation.
- Create, manage, and analyze usage reports and statistics for various cloud services.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data protection.
- Interest in advancing knowledge of sensitive data exfiltration prevention.
- Experience in operationalizing SaaS IT services.
- Embraces the DevOps culture and agile practices.
Preferred Technical Knowledge:
- Security technologies: SASE, DLP, CASB (experience with Netskope, ZScaler, Microsoft Purview, Symantec DLP, Cisco Umbrella).
- Networking: TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, DHCP.
- Scripting languages: Powershell, Bash, Python.
- Multi-cloud environments: AWS and Azure.
- Application monitoring tools: Splunk, Datadog, Grafana.
- Collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
