En tant que directeur.trice de création associé.e, volet rédaction, chez Underdog Studio, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans l'élaboration de l’aspect narratif des marques et des campagnes de nos clients issus du secteur de la machinerie lourde. Vous serez responsable d’imaginer et de créer du contenu marquant et culturellement parlant qui saura résonner dans le cœur des consommateurs québécois. Vous aurez ainsi l'occasion de déployer votre imagination sur divers supports et plateformes, et ce, aussi bien pour la rédaction de slogans et de scripts captivants que de textes attrayants pour les médias sociaux et le Web. Votre objectif : créer des campagnes de marketing percutantes conçues spécifiquement pour le marché québécois.


Responsabilités :

  • Travailler de concert avec l'équipe de création pour développer des stratégies et des concepts innovants répondant aux objectifs des clients tout en s’adaptant au marché québécois.
  • Diriger des séances de remue-méninges et fournir une orientation créative afin de guider le développement de textes et de messages percutants.
  • Transformer les briefs et objectifs marketing des clients en textes captivants et culturellement pertinents afin de stimuler l'engagement et la conversion.
  • Veiller à ce que le contenu créé soit toujours conforme aux marques, respecte les directives des clients et maintienne un ton et une voix cohérents sur l'ensemble des canaux de communication.
  • Rester à l’affût des tendances du secteur, des changements culturels et des meilleures pratiques émergentes en matière de marketing et de publicité afin de bonifier les stratégies et exécutions créatives.
  • Réviser et commenter les traductions externes effectuées par les clients.
  • Conseiller et rédiger des messages visant à soutenir l'engagement de la communauté des clients sur les médias sociaux.
  • Développer des campagnes francophones adaptées aux particularités du marché québécois.


Compétences requises :

  • Un minimum de 5 années d’expérience en conception-rédaction.
  • Expérience éprouvée dans la rédaction de textes captivants et efficaces pour le compte de divers clients issus de secteurs variés, et portfolio bien garni mettant de l’avant votre créativité et votre polyvalence. 
  • Compréhension approfondie de la culture, de la langue et du comportement des consommateurs québécois et capacité à tirer profit de ces connaissances afin de créer des stratégies créatives percutantes. 
  • Solides compétences en matière de réflexion conceptuelle et de résolution de problèmes et capacité à traduire des idées complexes en messages à la fois clairs et concis. 
  • Excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de travail d’équipe et bonne capacité à articuler ses idées et à les présenter, aussi bien aux collègues qu’aux clients. 
  • Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais et du français et capacité à rédiger couramment dans les deux langues.

Job Description:

As an Associate Creative Director, Copy at Underdog Studio, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of our heavy equipment clients' brands and campaigns. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing compelling, culturally relevant content that resonates with Quebec consumers. From developing captivating taglines and scripts to crafting engaging social media copy and long-form content, you'll have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles across various mediums and platforms. With the aim of creating impactful marketing campaigns tailored to the unique nuances of the Quebec market.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop innovative concepts and strategies that align with client objectives and resonate with the Quebec market.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and provide creative direction to guide the development of impactful copy and messaging.
  • Translate client briefs and marketing objectives into compelling, culturally sensitive copy that drives engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, adheres to client guidelines, and maintains a consistent tone and voice across channels.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, cultural shifts, and emerging best practices in marketing and advertising to inform creative strategies and executions.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on external client translations
  • Providing guidance and messaging for social media community engagement
  • Developing French messaging campaigns tailored to the unique nuances of the Quebec market


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting
  • Proven track record of developing compelling, effective copy for diverse clients and industries, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative talent and versatility.
  • Deep understanding of Quebecois culture, language, and consumer behavior, with the ability to leverage cultural insights to inform creative strategies.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, concise messaging.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate and present ideas to internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in both English and French, with the ability to write fluently and confidently in both languages.
