Mission
Our client, a growing manufacturing company located on Montreal’s South Shore, is looking for a Demand Planner to support the evolution of its S&OP process. Reporting to management, the Demand Planner will be responsible for demand forecasting, facilitating S&OP demand reviews, and continuously improving planning processes. This role requires strong analytical, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts. Analyze historical data, market trends, orders, and input from commercial teams. Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities that may impact future demand. Lead demand review meetings with Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders. Monitor key KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, and MAPE. Develop scenarios and recommendations to support S&OP decision-making. Contribute to the improvement, standardization, and automation of planning processes. Your profile
Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, IBP, or Supply Chain. Experience in a B2B manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of S&OP processes and demand forecasting KPIs. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or planning systems; knowledge of D365 is an asset. Bilingual in French and English. Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
