The Communications Security Establishment (CSE) offers a compelling student opportunity for 3rd or 4th year post-secondary students passionate about language and national security. Assist Foreign Language Intelligence Analysts in creating SIGINT reports through the analysis and translation of Chinese communications. Your analytical talents will be essential in researching and synthesizing data to support crucial decisions made by the Government of Canada.
Key Responsibilities: • Analyze material in Mandarin or Cantonese for reporting • Draft translations and transcriptions of Chinese content • Conduct essential research and present synthesized insights • Collaborate with experts on advanced telecommunications • Leverage cultural insights in analytical processes
Requirements: • Enrollment in a recognized Canadian post-secondary program • Strong willingness to learn in a collaborative environment • Analytical thinking and communication skills are essential • Must obtain security clearance prior to employment • Experience with computing or programming is advantageous
