đŻ What Youâll Do Â
- Partner with business and technical teams to establish and operationalize data governance practices Â
- Influence how data is defined, captured, and used across multiple lines of businessÂ
- Drive improvements in data quality, integrity, and consistency through root cause analysis and stakeholder collaboration Â
- Define and maintain data definitions, metadata, and lineage to ensure transparency and trust Â
- Support the rollout and adoption of data governance tools (e.g., cataloging, data quality platforms) Â
- Help shape AI-ready data practices, ensuring data is structured, complete, and fit for advanced analytics Â
- Embed governance standards into day-to-day workflowsânot just policies on paperÂ
- Contribute to data privacy, compliance, and risk mitigation efforts Â
- Establish visibility into data health through metrics, monitoring, and reporting Â
- Act as a key driver in building a culture where data is treated as a strategic assetÂ
Â
â What Weâre Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or similar data-focused roles, with the ability to drive initiatives and influence stakeholdersÂ
- Experience supporting or implementing data governance frameworks and stewardship models Â
- Strong understanding of data cataloging, lineage, and data quality principles (tools like Collibra, Informatica, Alation are assets) Â
- Ability to influence stakeholders across business functionsâthis role is as much about communication as it is about data Â
- Experience working with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud ecosystems like AWS/Azure/GCP)Â Â
- Exposure to data privacy and regulatory standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) Â
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn ambiguity into structured solutionsÂ
- Experience supporting or preparing AI-ready data for analytics or ML use cases Â
- A proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward Â
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve and clarity is built along the wayÂ
