About Us:

The Workun Garrick Partnership Architecture and Interior Design Inc. is an Edmonton-based architectural practice established in 1953, offering expertise in architecture, programming, and interior design. We have established an excellent track record of successfully completed projects for a wide spectrum of planning and design commissions. Our open studio reflects a diverse group of staff; led by 3 principals, the firm consists of highly specialized team members including architects, technologists, interior designers, LEED specialists, graphic designers, marketers, and support staff.


As a member of the Workun Garrick Team you will:

  • Collaborate on design projects.
  • Help plan and design buildings along with a team of Architects.
  • Brainstorm project ideas, complete design drawings, and assist in reviewing project proposals while remaining a part of the process from conception through development.
  • Create proposals and complete construction paperwork for various project types.
  • Coordinate the details of an architectural project including assisting with initial project research, outlining project schedules and tasks, and coordinating consulting engineers.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Communicate with contractors to monitor the progress of a project.


Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, with 3 – 10 years of experience.
  • Architects who are registered in Alberta, or capable of being registered in Alberta, are considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (BIM), Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to projects from start to finish.
  • Creativity and a passion for having fun
