Join the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services team as a Clinical Informatics Analyst, contributing to both on-site and remote healthcare technology solutions. This role focuses on optimizing digital health systems through collaboration and expert knowledge.
This position is critical for supporting the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of digital health systems. The Clinical Informatics Analyst applies technical skills to analyze workflows, improve patient outcomes, and ensure effective use of clinical applications. Successful candidates will work closely with teams to document requirements, assess system impacts, and facilitate operational support activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and document clinical and operational requirements
• Analyze and improve existing nursing workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system usability
• Support testing and implementation of clinical applications
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum five years of enterprise IT experience
• Knowledge of Epic systems, with certification required
• Technical certifications like MCSE or Cisco are assets
