We have two openings for Postdoctoral Fellows specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Applicants will engage with multimodal foundation models and have opportunities to diverge into robust generalization and efficient learning. This role allows you to contribute to significant research while mentoring graduate students and publishing impactful results.
Key Responsibilities
Focus on vision-language and multimodal models
Guide collaborative research efforts with graduate students
Drive independent research agenda aligned with group goals
Address challenges in model evaluation and adaptation
Contribute to publications in top-tier AI venues
Requirements:
PhD in related fields such as AI or machine learning
Proven expertise in multimodal frameworks and techniques
Strong desire for collaborative interdisciplinary research
Documented history of publishing in leading journals/conferences
Knowledge of trustworthy AI and model evaluation methods Advance your academic career by leading key AI research initiatives at North Campus Edmonton.
