Method of Payment: Fee-for-Service Method of Payment Description: The physician will bill the Medical Services Branch for clinical services rendered and will be remunerated as per the terms set forth by the Ministry of Health – Medical Services Branch.Emergency room coverage is in addition to clinical coverage and is remunerated through the Rural Emergency Room Pilot Site Stabilization Agreement for Services. Job Description The community of Estevan, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a team-orientated and professional family physician to join the health care team. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team providing primary health care services to the community of Estevan and the surrounding area and will work collaboratively with other medical professionals to support the area's acute care and emergency services. St. Joseph's Hospital , located in Estevan, is a fully accredited district hospital that provides the following services: Acute Care, Obstetrics Ward, Operating Room, Emergency Room, Dialysis Ward, full diagnostics including Laboratory, X-Ray, Ultrasound & CT Services. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the educational needs of medical students, residents, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
