We are seeking a new colleague to join our small but growing team that is based in Cambridge, ON, but working across Canada. This specific position is to work closely with a partnering firm on a project that requires mostly full-time in-person work at a contractor's village in Toronto. Thus, it is necessary for this person to be able to be in-person full-time, or as required, within Toronto, for the duration of this project. Our ideal applicant is someone who shares our values and commitment to serving the communities and organizations we work with through design excellence. They are someone who might be looking for a change of scenery or the next challenge in their career. We are currently looking for someone with a minimum of 5-10 years of dedicated Construction Drawing experience to support our team in this role specifically. A high-level of proficiency and a minimum of 5-10 years experience working in integrated teams, in Revit, is a prerequisite for this position, as well as extensive experience with diverse building technologies and technical detailing. Experience in specification writing is also considered an asset. Being able to problem solve creatively while valuing design excellence and integrated teamwork is critical for this position. Salary range is 70-110k but is negotiable depending on experience.As a 100% Indigenous-owned firm, we work on a range of projects from research-based contracts to community-based housing and cultural projects as well as working alongside partnering firms on larger projects.
