Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Equity Swaps)Location: TorontoWork Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)Contract Length: ASAP – October 30, 2026 (Extension & FTE conversion possible)Industry: Capital Markets / Investment BankingRole OverviewWe are looking for a senior Business Analyst to support front-office trading and equity swaps initiatives within Capital Markets. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, supporting trading system implementations end-to-end—from requirements and data mapping through testing and production release—while working closely with Front Office, Technology, and Control partners.The ideal candidate brings strong domain expertise in Equity Swaps, Synthetic Prime Brokerage, and Trading Systems, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical deliverables.Must-Have Qualifications7+ years of experience within Capital MarketsStrong hands-on experience with Equity Swaps and trading system implementationsRequirements gathering and documentation (BRD, FRD, test cases)Solid understanding of the Swaps Trading LifecycleExperience working with Front Office, Middle Office, Compliance, and OperationsExposure to Cash & Synthetic Prime Brokerage and front-office trade bookingAgile environment experience with PO/PM responsibilitiesStrong SQL experience; exposure to JSON and PythonExperience with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePointExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsNice-to-Have QualificationsExperience with Equity Swaps platforms such as Murex, NuvoPrime, SwapOne, or ImagineExposure to Total Return Swaps (TRS) and Portfolio SwapsPrior programming or technical backgroundExperience supporting regulatory-driven reporting or controls
