Lead records management initiatives with the Town of Tillsonburg as a Records and Legislative Coordinator. Focus on policy implementation and the management of municipal records.
In this permanent full-time position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and organization of the Corporation’s records in alignment with the Records Management By-Law. Collaborate with the Deputy Clerk to oversee audits and ensure compliance across all departments. Help foster a transparent record-keeping environment that supports municipal operations.
Key Responsibilities: • Implement and maintain records management policies • Conduct audits for compliance verification • Act as secretary for designated advisory committees • Maintain records inventory and classification systems • Provide end-user support for Records Management Software
Requirements: • Two-year post-secondary diploma in a related discipline • Two years of experience in records management • Knowledge of relevant municipal legislation • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills • Experience with electronic records management tools
