We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in the Leamington/ Kingsville, Ontario region. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in analyzing financial data, forecasting production outcomes, and driving informed business decisions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while advancing your career in corporate finance.Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed analyses of financial and operational data to evaluate performance against budgets.- Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine operational metrics using Business Intelligence tools.- Provide regular performance reports and insights for various greenhouse divisions.- Ensure the accuracy of production forecasts and communicate critical information to global sourcing teams.- Partner with the VP of Sales to prepare crop and acreage analysis reports, aiding in strategic decision-making.- Generate bi-weekly farm profit and loss reports, comparing budgeted figures to actual outcomes, and share findings with relevant stakeholders.- Engage with farm production managers to discuss operational performance and address key variances.- Identify cost-saving opportunities across major operational categories, such as labour, energy, and water usage.- Assist in the preparation of annual financial budgets for farm operations.- Create accurate projections for labour, production, and operational forecasting for the upcoming year.- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.- At least three years of experience in corporate finance or accounting roles.- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels, including executives.- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.- Proven track record of influencing stakeholders without direct reporting relationships.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.- Familiarity with tools such as Famous, Domo, or Adaptive is considered an asset.- Commitment to maintaining a positive workplace attitude and adhering to company policies and procedures.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
