IQ PARTNERS has engaged with one of the most respected law firms in Canada to find a skilled and collaborative HRIS Manager. As the manager for the UKG platform, you will own the end-to-end administration of UKG and its integrated modules and third-party applications. You will ensure data integrity, system security, and seamless employee-facing functionality, while partnering closely with Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure the platform accurately reflects the firm’s organizational structure, compensation framework, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.Primary Responsibilities:UKG System Ownership• Serve as the primary administrator for UKG, managing the full employee lifecycle including position and requisition setup, onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing data maintenance.• Administer job, pay, and personal data changes, auditing workflows for accuracy and completeness.• Configure, maintain, and enhance core UKG processes such as annual compensation reviews, performance management cycles, and new module implementations.• Perform regular system maintenance, testing, and documentation of releases, patches, and enhancements to ensure performance, security, and compliance.• Act as the firm’s escalation point for complex system issues, troubleshooting and coordinating resolutions.• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, recommending and implementing effective solutions.• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad hoc queries to deliver actionable insights to leadership.• Develop training materials, user guides, and best practices to drive adoption and effective system use.• Collaborate with stakeholders on HRIS initiatives, including integrations, customizations, and new functionality rollouts.Data and Reporting• Maintain UKG as the system of record, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of HR master data.• Produce and analyze recurring and ad hoc reports on headcount, turnover, attendance, overtime, and leave metrics.• Prepare quarterly, annual, and year-end reporting for HR and Payroll leadership.• Maintain internal HR tracking tools, including hires, terminations, anniversaries, and vacation entitlements.General HR Administration and Support• Coordinate probationary and annual performance review processes and support salary administration activities.• Assist payroll operations through timesheet reconciliation, lieu time tracking, and related reporting.• Support HR leadership with special projects and ad hoc initiatives as required.Qualifications• Demonstrated expertise as a UKG Pro administrator or super-user, or equivalent tier-one HRIS experience.• Strong knowledge of HR operational processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee data management, time and attendance, leaves, and terminations.• Exceptional attention to detail and discretion when managing sensitive employee information.• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (CIPD Level 5 or higher considered an asset).• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR reporting tools such as UKG Business Intelligence or Cognos.• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.The firm offers competitive compensation and benefits, a hybrid work environment.Salary: $120,000-$140,000
