About us

HMFT Inc. is a leader in the distribution of industrial fluid handling products.


We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Sales (Pumps) to join our team and assist customers in the selection of pumps and preparation of quotations.


Please note that this role does not entail any IT-related responsibilities. Therefore, candidates who do not meet the outlined requirements in mechanical engineering or relevant fields are kindly requested to refrain from applying.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a full technical review and select appropriate pumping equipment to meet client specifications provided in the Request for Quote (RFQ).
  • Prepare comprehensive quotations for submission.
  • Work directly with represented manufacturers to obtain technical information, project pricing and special requirements.
  • Ensure all quotations and orders are prepared and submitted as per schedule commitments.
  • Once purchase orders are received, you will prepare all purchase orders for the equipment and provide drawings for the shop fabrication and assembly of the pump and motor base.
  • Prepare final document package once complete.

Requirements:

  • Education in a technical mechanical discipline, ideally accompanied by a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation, or a combination of relevant education and experience in the mechanical industry, particularly with a focus on rotating equipment.
  • Alternatively, candidates without the specified educational background must demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in industrial pumps.
