Plant Finance Controller, Cost Control and Operational FinanceDynamically growing manufacturer of complex engineered packaging products seeks senior financial leader to lead transformation of the finance and accounting function in their GTA-based production facility.You will lead a plant-based financial team with full responsibility for operational and cost accounting, managing budgets, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficiency, while supporting executive initiatives to enhance productivity and performance. As the leader in the operational accounting function, you will focus on optimizing the use of the ERP to drive the forecast process, S&OP, and target continuous improvement opportunities. You will have an impact on costing and pricing initiatives, labour reporting and variance analysis against KPI’s set for the operation. You will be called upon to raise the standard for timely and robust reporting as well as for complex analysis to augment this high-performance culture.Ideally you will have a CPA, CMA and/or MBA, with a strong technical background in operational finance, cost accounting, and working with computer ERP systems to maximize production efficiency in the manufacturing environment. You will have a history of implementing robust processes and systems and creating effective KPI dashboards to enhance operational effectiveness in a growth focused enterprise. Your background experience will include exposure to the rigorous practices seen in aerospace, automotive, medical device and electronics and/or EMS manufacturing environments.An excellent opportunity to work in a challenging, private equity sponsored middle-market context. A base salary of $125K - $175K with additional bonus and benefits is offered.
