Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's financial accounts
  • Identify, create and implement financial controls
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and create management dashboards
  • Prepare annual budgets, monthly and quarterly reporting packages, and compliance reports
  • Compile, close and prepare financial statements
  • Verify staff accountants' work, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts
  • Integrate technology into financial practices, automate recurring accounting activities, and oversee working capital accounts
  • Build, foster, coach and mentor a highly-engaged accounting team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar position
  • CPA designation
  • Strong understanding of GAAP/ASPE
  • Excellent communication skills and impactful presentation style
  • Highly reliable, rigorous, and organized with great attention to detail
  • Autonomous, resourceful, and creative with high confidence in decisions
