The Ottawa Catholic School Board is looking for a dedicated Program Assistant for its Culinary Program, focused on supporting youth aged 15 to 18. This role entails direct culinary assistance, supervision, and collaboration with co-op teachers. You will help implement educational plans and address students’ diverse learning needs through a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities: • Reinforce learning concepts and supervise students effectively • Provide personalized support during kitchen activities • Implement required safety and behavior plans • Help develop and modify students’ educational objectives • Create and track culinary program materials and menus
Requirements: • Diploma in a relevant field like Developmental Services • Experience working with high school students • Excellent communication and detail-oriented skills • Ability to build rapport with youth • Familiarity with Google Suite and educational tools
