Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst:On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Montreal office.Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst - Job Description:This role involves driving the adoption of FinOps capabilities and best practices for cloud cost management within the organization. The analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing cloud expenditures across multiple vendors, as well as developing automation scripts and workflows for data collection and reporting.Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst - Responsibilities:• Drive adoption of Cloud FinOps capabilities and best practices for cloud cost management• Monitor, analyze, and report on cloud spend across multiple vendors• Develop scripts and workflows to automate data collection and reporting• Work with partners to design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools• Identify cost-saving opportunities through usage analysis, rightsizing, and purchasing strategies• Liaise with technology teams to provide execution support• Track cost optimization actions and associated valueCloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:• Experience in financial analysis and working with large datasets• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public cloud concepts• Experience with databases (structured, unstructured, and column)• Experience with Agile development methodology and CI/CD• Experience with SDLC tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Bitbucket• Experience with public cloud cost management mechanics and tools• Strong written and verbal communication skillsCloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Development experience in Python, Java, ETL, ELT, Swagger• Experience in data modeling with PostgreSQL, PowerDesigner• Experience with analytics databases like Snowflake• Experience in effective IT cost management strategies and tools• Understanding of cloud billing processes and FinOps/TBM certificationsCloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst – Assignment Length:This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst - Start Date:ASAP.Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Data Analyst - Assignment Location:Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
