NSB Omega is seeking a Hydrogeologist for groundbreaking oil and gas projects in Calgary, AB. Impact groundwater management and environmental initiatives with your technical skills.
In this role, you'll work with a major client to address groundwater-related risks in drilling operations. Your responsibilities will span environmental permitting, contamination assessment, and collaboration with regulators and Indigenous communities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hydrogeologist looking to apply their knowledge in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage groundwater risks for drilling and environmental projects
• Support groundwater monitoring program design and interpretation
• Conduct assessments on groundwater contamination and remediation
• Collaborate on environmental compliance and permitting activities
• Review and prepare regulatory documents and reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Hydrogeology or related field
• Minimum 10 years’ hydrogeological experience
• P.
Geo. or P.
Eng. designation in Alberta
• Strong knowledge of Alberta environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities Apply your knowledge in a role that impacts oil and gas environmental stewardship.
