Microchip is expanding its firmware and software team and seeks a self-motivated individual with extensive embedded software experience. In this position, you will work closely with global teams to develop robust firmware solutions, address engineering challenges, and conduct thorough code reviews. Your mentorship of junior engineers will nurture talent and enhance team capabilities, driving improvements and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and validate firmware and DevOps tools • Lead cross-functional architecture and implementation reviews • Work with firmware and chip design teams for project success • Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues • Generate comprehensive technical engineering documents
Requirements: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering • 15+ years of embedded application software experience • Strong proficiency in C and assembly languages • Expertise in high-speed protocols like PCIe and NVMe • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
