Sante Manufacturing Inc. is a manufacturer of Personal Care products, with production of PET bottles used on our filling lines.

We are currently looking to hire a full time Injection Stretch Blow Molding Supervisor with experience in overseeing and supervising injection moulding operations, processes and machines running molds with 10 cavities or more for our manufacturing facility located in Aylmer, Ontario.

This is a permanent, full time position. Shift work will be expected (8 hour shifts) as the facility runs 24 hours, 7 days a week. Shifts will include night shifts and weekend shifts.

Duties:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the blow molding plant for the production of plastic bottles, leading a team in charge of production, quality control and maintenance.
Training and supervising of machine operators and maintenance team.
Establishing maintenance schedules recommended by the equipment manufacturers.
Implementing and optimizing operations and automation solutions to achieve the supply of plastic bottles for the filling lines.
Managing projects, Engineering, Maintenance & Reliability Systems, and Continuous Improvement projects for Blow Molded container manufacturing.
Optimizing processes to reduce downtime and increase profitability.
Supporting and evaluating machinery to ensure efficient and safe facility operations.
Developing strategies and implementing plans to continually improve operations and provide a more competitive position in key operating parameters such as safety, environmental, product quality, productivity, and cost.
Establishing and maintaining a safe work environment for the plant.

Employment requirements:

· Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding processes and machines.

· Significant experience in the operation and maintenance of AL-1000 series Aoki Injections Stretch Blow Molding machines preferred.

· Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting Hot–Runners including fixed nozzle touch systems.

· Demonstrated expertise regarding high-speed mold release processes and technologies.

· Experience in re-setting parameters on machines equipped with interface touch panel.

· Strong background in installation and removal of molds following manufacturer’s methods to extend the life of all mold components.

· Experience in modifying and upgrading existing molds to produce alternative bottles and determine new molding parameters.

· Experience in the operation and maintenance of auxiliary equipment used for the production of PET containers.

· Experience with a wide variety of PET blow molded containers preferred

· Experience with new product development, design, trials and material selection.

· Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication skills.

· Relevant post-secondary education in an engineering or technical discipline.

Remuneration:

· $47.25/hour

· Overtime after 44 hours per week
