Education and Work Experience, Certification and /or Licensure

  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts & Chart Analysis, Macros, Index, Merge Data, IF Function, Data Analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Qliksense or other PowerBI tools is a strong asset
  • Solid knowledge and experience using PowerPoint to translate analytics to business visuals


Essential duties and responsibilities:


Dashboard Design & Development

  • Work closely with functional groups to determine business requirements and priorities. 
  • Use information to support (utilizing Excel) KPI dashboards that will empower teams with actionable insights
  • Automate reporting and self-service whenever possible 


Analytics & Reporting

  • Own data integrity internally - oversee customer master data. Improve and ensure quality and accuracy to allow for market reach efforts in supporting both sales and marketing departments
  • Support in-depth customer reporting for sales and sales management steering. This may include several elements such as: revenue, gross profit, product mix, pricing analysis and commissions
  • Support in-depth supply chain reporting for procurement. This may include several elements such as: inventory levels and turns, slow moving and obsolete inventory, inventory devaluation projections, and demand planning
  • Support KPI reporting for Customer Service team to improve response time and quality in an effort to increase customer engagement
  • Support pricing modeling. Develop an understanding of value drivers used in business planning
  • Support with market research. Be on the look out for opportunity, competitive risks, profitability and economic conditions affecting the business
  • Assist in new customer onboarding project by identifying trends and achievement of objectives for new account creation and online presence in support of marketing initiatives
  • Presentation support, including but not limited to, ad hoc deep dive analysis, developing PowerPoint slides and preparing concise and relevant analytical commentary
  • Support the annual business planning efforts
