What You'll Do:


  • Craft dynamic prototypes that validate your concepts and showcase your creativity.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of engineers dedicated to innovation and excellence.
  • Develop project ideas from the ground up, managing them according to client specifications while regularly following up on progress.
  • Use your design expertise to create and model 3D mechanical parts with Inventor or SolidWorks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure all project needs are accurately identified and met.
  • Work alongside the automation and control department to seamlessly integrate electrical components.
  • Coordinate with different departments to initiate the manufacturing and production of equipment.
  • Conduct tests on machines to ensure they perform at the expected standards.
  • Occasionally visit customer sites to assess project needs, conduct tests, or help start up equipment.



What We Need From You:


To be considered for this opportunity you'll need to demonstrate the following:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience designing and manufacturing automated machinery and equipment, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Membership with the OIQ.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software for mechanical parts, specifically Inventor and/or SolidWorks.
  • A dynamic and responsible individual with excellent organizational skills.
  • A team player who is rigorous, creative, and adaptable.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written.
