Toronto, Canada Vive Social + PR Full time

We're looking for a Public Relations & Influencer Lead to join our Toronto office Our agency specializes in social media, public relations, influencer marketing, events, and content creation. This person has at least two years of direct experience (agency is ideal) and must live in the GTA.


The Lead executes the following skill sets by taking initiative and working independently.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify and define audiences during the strategy phase of client onboarding
  • Manage client relations; meet with clients in a professional and punctual manner 
  • Participate and/or lead team brainstorms for creative assets and marketing campaigns 
  • Proactively stay up-to-date on the latest trends and apps in all aspects of your responsibilities 
  • Supports and leads Account Coordinators, manages communication, deadlines, and assigned projects
  • Develop story angles and pitch calendars
  • Source and build media lists with targeted, on-beat writers
  • Build and maintain relationships with writers, editors, influencers, bloggers, and producers
  • Organize and manage virtual and in-person events
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Source influencers based on campaign goals and targets
  • Create campaign briefs
  • Negotiate rates and review contracts
  • Liaise between the clients and influencers to ensure deliverables are met
  • Create in-depth reports

  • Responding to client inquiries in a professional, timely manner 
  • Supporting team projects and colleagues if and when needed 
  • Undertaking tasks as assigned 
  • Treating colleagues, clients, contractors, and Vive affiliates in a professional, respectful manner
  • Staying on top of Slack messages, emails, and communication with the team and our client
  • A strong understanding of the Canadian media landscape, U.S. a bonus
  • A strong understanding of how to use all social media platforms
