The Ministry of Education and Childcare is seeking a strategic Director to oversee Curriculum Policy, Strategy, and Assurance in a full-time capacity. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the curriculum aligns with current legislation and educational priorities. Collaborating with various stakeholders, your leadership will significantly impact educational standards and student learning.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct development of K-12 curriculum policies and frameworks
• Manage curriculum assurance and continuous improvement projects
• Integrate AI and digital literacy in educational policies
• Build and maintain partnerships with educational stakeholders
• Provide briefings and strategic recommendations to executives
Requirements:
• Degree in a relevant field and 7 years of experience
• Expertise in policy development and curriculum management
• Experience leading complex educational initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven project management capabilities Empower Alberta’s future by enhancing curriculum policy and educational strategy.
