PhysioPlus Whitehorse is a physiotherapy clinic located in Whitehorse, YT. The clinic, previously known as Riverfront Physiotherapy, has been serving the community since the mid-90s. In 2006, the clinic relocated to the Canada Games Centre and was renamed PhysioPlus to reflect its expanded multi-disciplinary services. Co-owned by Thane Phillips and Mandy McClung,

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Whitehorse, YT for a Physiotherapist. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services to clients, developing customized treatment plans, conducting assessments and evaluations, implementing therapeutic exercises and techniques, and tracking client progress. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals and maintaining accurate documentation. We have a preference for experienced therapists but will happily hire a new grad if the person is the right fit for our clinic.

Professional development funding is provided to help the right candidate continue to grow as a clinician.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in physiotherapy techniques and practices
  • Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans
  • Proficiency in therapeutic exercises and modalities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Active license (or ability to get one) to practice as a Physiotherapist in YT
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations
  • Continuing education and professional development in relevant areas
