Job Responsibilities

The Rehabilitation Assistant will provide clinical care services for residents with physical, cognitive, social, and/or emotional impairments in our Long-Term Care facilities.

Under the direction of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and/or speech-language pathologists, the Rehabilitation Assistant will develop and implement rehabilitation programs and activities to enhance, maintain, improve, or restore residents' ability to participate in daily living activities.

Training and Development

The Rehabilitation Assistant may also provide training to staff working throughout the Continuing Care division.
