About the Role As a full-time Senior Event Manager, you’ll lead high-impact, complex event programs from strategy through execution. Reporting to the Manager, Event Operations, you’ll be responsible for overseeing multi-layered project plans, managing real-time budgets, and ensuring seamless delivery across all phases of the event lifecycle. This role demands advanced project leadership, operational precision, and a proven ability to manage work-back schedules and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You will also play a key role in shaping event strategy, mentoring junior team members, and driving innovation across Wynford’s portfolio of incentive travel and conference programs. The base salary range for this role sits at $75,000 - $95,000 annually.Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Collaboration Build strong client and internal relationships to deliver programs that exceed engagement goals. Facilitate clear communication and alignment across teams. Lead collaborative sessions to identify risks, unlock opportunities, and drive solutions that balance client objectives, operational feasibility, and budget. Project Management Own end-to-end planning and execution of complex events post file transfer, ensuring flawless delivery of creative vision. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and decision logs. Lead meetings confidently, address risks proactively, and guide clients through solutions. Maintain integrated workflows across teams and partners for consistent delivery. Budget Management Manage event budgets from transfer through reconciliation with accuracy and transparency. Maintain real-time visibility, communicate impacts, and collaborate across cost centers. Apply rigorous scope and change control while balancing fiscal discipline with live event realities. Site Inspections & Finalization Plan and execute operational site inspections to validate logistics and readiness. Coordinate itineraries, supplier sessions, and decision forums. Identify gaps and risks, document outcomes, and translate into actionable updates. Vendor Oversight Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and budgets, ensuring timelines, quality, and experience outcomes. Build strong partnerships while holding suppliers accountable. Drive creative excellence and financial discipline through best-in-class solutions. Operational Excellence & Technology Ensure disciplined, high-quality delivery by following SOPs, templates, and timelines. Champion technology adoption to streamline workflows, reduce risk, and enhance client and participant experience. What You Bring Minimum 5 years of full-cycle incentive travel or conference event management experience, specifically within an agency or third-party supplier environment. Proven track record of managing complex programs with multiple moving parts and stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Cvent (Sourcing); adaptable to new tech tools. Strong project management, budgeting, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Exceptional communication, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities under pressure. Strategic thinking and ability to contribute to broader organizational goals. Willingness to travel and a passion for delivering exceptional client and participant experiences.
