In order to assure our customer’s satisfaction, we are looking for a full time Renovations Supervisor for the Maintenance Department to be based out of our headquarters in London, ON.


The ideal candidate will have high energy and be able to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office.


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Understand the different projects and contracts requirements

• General knowledge of project planning and development of the construction plan

• Project organization, staffing and scheduling

• Prepare contracts, invoices, statements, and purchase orders

• Material procurement including appliances, countertops, cleaning, and maintenance supplies

• Obtain quotes and prepare costs analysis

• Process and assign work orders, as well as follow up on activities to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and according to the contract requirements

• Schedule and track periodic maintenance and building system requirements such as fire alarm testing, backflow testing, generator service/testing, mechanical PMA’s, etc.

• Assist with monthly duties as required


Other Duties:

• Provide general administrative and front desk support as well as general filing

• Deal with and attend to all inquiries from contractors and offsite staff in a professional manner

• Complete and follow up on inspection reports

• Prepare contracts, invoices, statements, and purchase orders

• Order appliances, countertops, cleaning, and maintenance supplies

• Obtain quotes

• Process work orders and work requests

• Assist with monthly duties as required


Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years’ supervisory experience in the Property Management field is preferred

• Knowledge of industry practices and building systems is an asset

• Comfortable working independently

• Must have advanced computer skills, Excel in particular

• Professional, calm demeanor with excellent customer service skills

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage high volumes of work

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail oriented, ability to take initiative and manage time effectively

• Works well in a fast-paced environment

• Enthusiastic and team oriented

• Driver license and clean driver record
