Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hands-on Test Lead to join our team. The Test Lead will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for our projects, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Execute and oversee various types of testing, including functional, regression, automation testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Monitor and report on testing progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to testing best practices, standards, and processes.
  • Mentor and train junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 6 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Lead or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with Epic products.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., VBScript, Python) for test automation.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement and provide estimations
  • Defect management tools – qTest, Jira
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Healthcare certification (e.g., CPHIMS, CAHIMS) is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in test automation, including developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and onsite- offshore model
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of testers.
