Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will have the opportunity to build on your experience and develop programs that support our service and results-driven culture.You will make an impact by:Working closely with the business to drive and support talent management functions in the employee lifecycle with a focus on creating great employee experiencesGuiding leaders and teams for all matters related to people, and fostering a culture that promotes kindness, commitment and continuous improvement through ongoing coaching and developmentRecruiting top talent for field leadership roles to drive customer service, sales, operational excellence and engagementSupporting the implementation of corporate programs and processesBuilding relationships with internal and external partners to stay abreast and ahead of trends in best people practicesPerforming various administrative requirements, including recruitment activities, onboarding co-ordination and performance enablement documentationPerforming other duties as assignedAs an ideal candidate, you have:An in-depth knowledge of Human Resources, employee relations, and Canadian employment legislationRetail experience is a strong assetAbility to foster strong relationships with employees at all levels including executive leadersAbility to work independently, identify and prioritize issues and develop alternative solutionsStrong initiative and work ethic to effectively support the team in a professional, timely and courteous mannerExcellent oral and written communication skillsCuriosity and interest in understanding situations as well as emerging trends in the field of Human Resources to promote best practices and continuous improvementYour Qualifications include:Post-secondary education in Business or Human Resources5+ years of experience in an HR Manager roleRetail leadership experience a strong assetProficiency in Microsoft Office programs, in particular Excel and WordDuring the interview process, we may use an AI-powered notetaking tool to assist with capturing and organizing interview discussions. This helps us focus on the conversation while ensuring accurate and consistent notes.
