Bimbo Canada seeks a QFS Technician dedicated to product quality and food safety. This position requires working flexible night or afternoon shifts.
As a QFS Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring product safety and quality across Bimbo Canada's extensive bakery operations. Your responsibilities include investigating customer complaints, conducting inspections, and liaising with production and maintenance teams to resolve food safety issues. Additionally, you will engage in continuous improvement projects supporting the QFS team.
Key Responsibilities: • Identify root causes of quality complaints with management oversight • Carry out comprehensive quality inspections on-site • Analyze environmental results and ensure timely corrections • Participate in audits and prepare for inspections • Support training for associates on food safety protocols
Requirements: • Minimum 5 years in food quality assurance roles • Extensive knowledge of quality systems and regulations • Degree in Food Science or equivalent • Moderate to high computer skills for reporting • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
