Main Interfaces

Reports to Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager. Interacts continuously with broader Canada and EMEAA Supply Chain teams. Regular interactions with regional commercial teams & functions (Sales, Finance, Marketing).

Key Purpose Statement

The warehouse & logistics Analyst supports the senior manager in the delivery of the annual Budget and the optimization of Warehousing & Logistics across Canada, with specific focus on providing insights, maintaining inventory and expenses reports. This role is key in delivering the required processes to ensure the effective management of our warehousing and distribution activities on a national scale in support of the overall Asahi Canada growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analysis

  • Support the delivery of performance management reports and KPI's to ensure weekly / monthly financial performance is understood
  • Support the delivery of monthly reports on logistics costs drivers and variance to budget, with associated action plans

Day to Day Management

  • Responsible for the invoice processing of warehouse & logistics activities (warehouse, excise, freight & handling)
  • Maintain a proactive and accurate tracking of warehouse operations such as stock movements, goods receipts and expired products destruction requests
  • Routine inventory reconciliation between 3PL warehouse inventory report and SAP system
  • Tracking the invoice and payment process for international carriers
  • Maintain and analyze our total landed cost tracking
  • Coordinate empty kegs outbound shipments and accurately document the progress
  • Partner with EMEAA SC team on management of master data for inventory management
  • Coordination of any provincial inventory transfers

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced complexity and cost mitigation.
  • Support supply chain managers to deliver a number of process improvements (e.g. optimized MOQ, reduced case pick)
  • Evaluate internal administrative processes and drive continuous improvements of systems and processes.

Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Have knowledge of SAP B1 software

Is familiar with CPG supply chain (Alcohol specific is a plus)
