This position requires developing and maintaining compliance frameworks that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The successful candidate will have 4-5 years of relevant legal experience with solid backgrounds in national law firms and in-house environments. You will provide vital support to various teams while fostering a client-driven service culture in the Legal Department.
Key Responsibilities: • Create and enhance legal compliance frameworks • Oversee compliance training initiatives • Advise on regulatory impacts and policies • Negotiate and draft various service contracts • Conduct audits and risk assessments when necessary
Requirements: • Canadian LLB/JD and Ontario Call • 4-5 years of legal experience, including in-house • Expertise in legal compliance and commercial contracts • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills • Familiarity with essential software tools
