Advance enterprise analytics governance with CGIC in Calgary through risk assessment, compliance, and responsible AI practices. This hybrid position includes two office days weekly.
As a Senior BI Analytics Governance Specialist, you will improve governance frameworks across CGIC. You will work with business and technical teams on analytics, reporting, models, and AI-driven solutions. Your work supports trusted, compliant, responsible data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and continuously improve analytics governance frameworks and policies
- Establish controls for responsible reporting, analytics, models, and artificial intelligence
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Information Security
- Maintain analytics asset inventories and metadata management practices
- Report governance across Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, and AI platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field
- Five or more years of progressive governance or compliance experience
- Experience developing governance frameworks, standards, controls, and best practices
- Knowledge of data, analytics, model, and AI governance principles
- English proficiency; French is an asset
