One of our clients is looking for a Production Supervisor for a temporary assignment (3 to 6 months). Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor's main responsibility is to organize, coordinate, and supervise all activities in their sector, while ensuring that they are carried out safely and in line with company guidelines. The supervisor will also be responsible for leading the team to achieve zero incidents, operational excellence, and a high level of commitment.More specifically, your tasks will be as follows:-Manage a work team-Ensure efficient factory production in compliance with HACCP standards and Good Practices-Optimizing human and material resources-Training a multidisciplinary team to achieve production objectives-Effectively meeting the requirements of the company's ongoing operations in terms of safety, quality, and production-Collaborating with teams from other quality and maintenance departments-Ensure that various problems are resolved and manage unforeseen events effectively-Inform and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards to ensure the safety of your team-Manage the working conditions of unionized employees in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement-Ensure that there are enough products for the production needs of the following days, in collaboration with the production planner-Inform and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards to ensure the safety of your team-Monitor performance indicators (KPIs)-Participate in the implementation of new projects (departmental reorganization, renovations, etc.)7:30 am to 4 pm Monday through FridayTemporary assignment-3 to 6 months -College diploma (DEC) in administration-Have 3-6 years of experience in a similar position-Experience working in the food industry-Experience managing a work team-Good communicator and know how to rally people-Demonstrate determination, resourcefulness, and initiative-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite-Good organizational and planning skills-Ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected situations-Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively with others
