The Port of Argentia is currently seeking a Manager, Marketing & Communications to join their management team. This key role reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for marketing the Port through social media platforms and stakeholder relationships, facilitating new business development, and providing strategic advice and support.

Responsibilities include providing marketing and communications guidance, overseeing stakeholder engagement, performing business development and prospect functions, and managing the marketing and communications budget. Additionally, this role involves crafting a detailed marketing and social media strategy, creating content to articulate the Port's competitive advantages, building strong media relationships, and acting as a primary spokesperson for the Port.

Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business administration or commerce with specialization in marketing and/or public communications/media relations and/or business development, five (5) or more years of experience in marketing/business development, and expertise in strategy development and execution. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
