Role: Senior Advisor Enterprise Risk ManagementLocation: Mississauga – 3 days onsiteTerm: Fulltime/Permanent The Senior Advisor, Enterprise Risk & Performance, is responsible for leading delivery of activities related to the effective execution and management of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Performance Management (PM) programs. The Senior Advisor will lead and/or directly work on key risk and performance management transformation initiatives and support enterprise initiatives as the risk management subject matter expert. The role of Performance Management (PM) accountability is to lead the ongoing development, implementation and support the oversight of the PM program to assess the efficiency and effectiveness with which the client’s executes its corporate strategy and business plan.What You’ll Do Advancing Enterprise Risk MaturityProvide leading contributions towards the enhancement of ERM program maturity including development and preparation of the risk management annual plan and roadmapDesign, build and develop continual enhancements of program materials to further provide ERM education, support enterprise-wide skills development and tools that promote consistent, forward-looking, risk practicesWork in partnership with key stakeholders, including leaders within business units to enhance the level of risk management capability in operational and project risk managementSupport Enterprise Risk Champions Committee through development of relevant agenda topics, meeting materials, delivering targeted presentations, knowledge sharing and training on riskDesign and development of risk management training initiatives for diverse audiences (board and its committees, the executive leadership team, project teams, process owners and business unit staff).ERM Program DeliveryCollaborate with business partners to obtain regular status updates and proactively lead discussions on objective-centric risk identification, assessment, and monitoringCoordinate the compilation of ongoing reports and produce meeting materials for the for-audit committee that accurately communicates the organization’s current state of residual risk and mitigation progress status using insightful and creative visualizationFacilitation of the organization’s risk target assessments and suggesting new risk targets to align with planned mitigations and existing controlsLead annual review of the client’s strategic risks with both the business units and the executive leadership teamPerform interpretation of risk management standards, directives, guidance and guidelinesAnalyze risks to determine risk root cause, impacts, controls and systemic interdependencies amongst risk attribute dataIdentification and development of key risk mitigation plan programs and assessing their ability to mitigate to target levelsMaintain enterprise risk management corporate policy, procedures and process documentsCoordination and management of the work of external contractors executing risk management related services including managing budgets and timelines. This includes assisting in the development of procurement documents, and statements of work and critically reviewing external contractor deliverables.
