**About the Role**
The Risk Management Specialist for Financial Products is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and mitigating risks associated with a variety of financial products offered by the company. This role involves assessing market, credit, operational, and other relevant risks to ensure the organization's financial products are in compliance with regulatory requirements and aligned with the company's risk appetite.

- Risk Assessment: Evaluate the risk associated with different financial products, including but not limited to loans, investments, insurance, and other financial instruments. Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in these products.
- Risk Modeling: Develop and maintain risk models to assess the potential impact of various risks on the financial products. Utilize statistical and financial modeling techniques to estimate risk exposures.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial products adhere to regulatory guidelines and industry standards. Stay updated with relevant laws and regulations and make recommendations for compliance enhancements.
- Risk Mitigation: Propose risk mitigation strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize potential losses. Collaborate with relevant teams to implement risk-reduction measures.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of financial products, keeping an eye on market conditions, credit quality, and other relevant factors. Report on changes in risk profiles.
- Stress Testing: Conduct stress tests to assess the impact of adverse economic scenarios on the financial products, providing insights into potential vulnerabilities.
- Risk Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting risk exposures, mitigation efforts, and recommended actions.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may indicate potential risks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including finance, compliance, legal, and product development teams, to ensure that risk management strategies are integrated into product design and implementation.
- Education and Training: Provide training and support to employees on risk management best practices and risk-related policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Fluency in both English & Chinese is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, risk management, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a plus.
- Proven experience in risk management, preferably in the financial product industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and risk modeling.
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of risk assessment software and tools is advantageous.
