Job Title: Financial Aid Administrator

The programs at Metro College of Technology cover business, engineering & technology, information technology.

Currently we are looking for a Financial Aid Administrator to support students with financial assistance.


Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance to students who apply for financial aids.

2. Guide students with financial aid application document preparation.

3. Prepare and submit financial aid applications to the financial aid providers when applicable.

4. Monitor student’s financial aid application progress.

5. Inform students of financial aid release orientation and deliver the orientation to them.

6. Confirm student’s enrollment for fund release.

7. Update and maintain student’s financial aid records.

8. Report the student activities to financial aid providers when required.

9. Review refund calculation for withdrawal students and report to the financial aid providers.

10. Troubleshoot student financial aid applications.

11. Guide students to resolve financial aid troubles.

12. Inform students of loan repayment webinar and facilitate the webinar.

13. Assist OSAP students with grant restoration when requested.

14. Create, maintain, and close student’s financial aid files.

15. Report to financial aid manager regularly.


The qualifications:

a. College diploma or bachelor’s degree

b. Over 2 years of successful customer service experience

c. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

d. Good at and accurate in numbers

e. Ba able to speak clearly and write properly in English

f. Patient, approachable, and able to identify needs of customers quickly

g. Be able to prioritize tasks and work in a tight deadline working setting

h. Be able to follow policies, procedures, and instructions.

i. Be able to manage events effectively and get things done on time

j. Be able to work with colleagues and provide support when needed

k. Be able to learn new knowledge and skills and apply quickly

l. Able to give presentation to a group of people clearly and comfortably


Training provided

Type of Employment: Full time

Work location: in office

Work time: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Mon to Fri.

Weekly work hours: 40

Salary: $21.00-$24.00/hour, plus performance bonus.

Job Type: Full-time
